Got my FTTP I stepped today however just home from work and it’s not working . Done a speed test and I’m getting 5mbps lol currently holding for over an hour to ge through . Also noticed the engineer has plugged the home hub I tot he old openreach phone socket . Why would this be it’s its firbre I didn’t think we needed to use the old socket ?

The HH should be plugged into the ONT on the wall.

The home hub is plugged into the ONT however he has plugged a telephone lead from the broadband socket into the telephone socket . The broadband isn’t working at all and now I’m on hold an hour and a half this is ridiculous
