This is getting weird now your upload speed has dropped also. Crazy, how long did you have full speed again?
Upload must have been a glitch, Going on for a month next week since i reported it Paul.
Hopefully an end to my issue in sight.
The guy at ELC sent an engineer out today who just rung me, he said there are about 7 faults from my cab with the same problem and the cab is now under investigation...i could have told them that there was a problem with it a month ago but at least it's hopefully being recognised as a problem now and will be fixed.
He didn't give me any ETA thoough so i guess i'll just have o wait.
Thats hope so mate and the silly thing is the right hand not talking to the left hand, surely if it's known the Cab has a fault then way does CS not know about and to think that on a few times CS have told you the fault has been fixed. Crazy crazy beyond it is.
I decided to redownload modernwarfare 2 from steam yesterday morning........it's still downloading.
Still ongoing. Apparantely wholesale or openreach are liasing with the exchange equipment manufactures to find a fix. At least this is a new one to me and i have now no longer have to tell everyone that rings that my PC is connected with a cable a month and a half on.
Hoping to see a fix in the next week...i wish.
Finally fixed i think.
REIN found there was a streetlight causing noise next to the cab.
Its been a long old run, but hopefully the end of the problem.
Thanks Dean for picking this up initially and everyone else involved. (except India who would still be asking me if i was connected with an ethernet cable 2 months on)
Really glad you have got finally a result. REIN is really hard to diagnose and the experts only get involved when all other possible causes have been eliminated but dodgy steeetlights have been found before at least it was not like one case I heard of where it was a dodgy TV where BT had to give the guy a new one to cure half a dozen complaints.
What this does illustrate is the need for persistance and patience your dogged determination to get a fix and not to accept being fobbed off. It contrasts with people threatening to stop payment because a wire has come loose
