My line attenuation is 34.5db - I will check what my neighbours is.

I will wait until next Friday and see what happens, then report back.  Fingers crossed - that extra speed is tantalisingly close!!

Update:

The order on my line is now no longer showing as pending. There is a new entry for Copper Multicast which is now listed as being available on my cabinet. So, rather unfortunately, that's what the order was for - not quite the ADSL2+ migration I had hoped for. I feel absolutely deflated...

Could someone now pick this up for me and get me switched over, please?

The forum mods normally reply within 6 working days after you have contacted them via their contact form

My sincere apologies - it seems I may have been a tad premature!

It still says "There is an open order on your line which is due to complete by 24-Jul-2015." when I check via BTwholesale.com, but when I checked earlier using dslchecker.bt.com, it had (and currently still has) this line omitted.

It seems both websites are giving conflicting info, so please ignore my request temporarily - sorry again!

just leave it with the mods now they currently have a 5/6 working day wait to reply to you

Well - good news, I'm finally on ADSL2+!

The bad news is my download speed has only increased by a fraction!  Upload speed has doubled, which was to be expected.

I don't understand though why it is still so low.  I expected to be synicng at over 20meg, due to previously syncing with ADSL at the maximum value of 8128.  At the minute, my sync speeds are:

Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps)	1047
Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps)	9972

These sync speeds would indicate that I'm about 3kms from the exchange, when the reality is I'm less than 1km away...

Is it possible my speeds are limited or restricted somehow?
