"I had stable speed until today when I could not connect due to a DNS error I tried ipconfig /flushdns , /renew and /release with no luck, so the first time I restarted the HH it was OK but the second time the profile went back down to 6500kps I will wait and see if it goes back to 9000kps as they say here and see if it resets itself after a few days "
From old post that I had no reply too..... My question is how long will it take to reset back to the correct profile as I have been told by people here that when the line settles down it will go back to the correct profile? now will it or will I have to Email the mods here to do it.

Before the DNS problem it was a stable 10.5Meg Line and a 9Meg Profile mat008
your noise level is very high normally about 6db against your 19db that needs to reduce first that will increase your speed then your profile will rise a noise level will normally will reset in 3db steps at about 10 to 12 day intervals providing no resets take place during that time just a matter of waiting
Well another three days have passed and still the profile is the same?
I did not restart the HomeHub it was on for the three days or more and the noise was about 10db
I had the profile download speed of 6.5Meg last night but today well......
Slightly better on this one but still half speed, up as well now.
So every time there is a problem or one of my kids accidently unplug the HH I will have to wait a week just to get my speeds back (profile) and it does not seem to changed on it's own as someone said I expect the only way to do it is to contact a mod everytime? where as before the upgrade I could just restart the HH untill it corrects itself??
