SHARING !
As a 'Pandemic Lockdown Treat ', I have a punt around the same few 'tech-security' sites, everyday.
This morning, I was presented with the following pre-page. Subsequently, allowing access to the site.
I'm surprised that a BT IP-Address 31.50.124.41, warrants Anti-Crawler Protection activated remote.
I do appreciate that the 'Anti-Crawler' software is enabled by the 'distant end'.
It appears to be all, a matter of trust, or the lack of it.
Any observations would be appreciated.
Best regards. SinecoalCirph4.
SHARING.
I had a power-outage, about 10.50am today.
It knocked over the BB Kit. It came back-up to a different IP Address than 31.50.124.41
So, I can, once again, access the nominated site associated with the Anti-Crawler Protection Software.
Anti-Crawler Protection Software, your occasional friend ?
Best regards.
I would bin it! Never heard of it!!!
Sounds to good!
Your email client will have settings to be made....and your antivirus software,
Hi there.
The Anti-Crawler Protection Software was enabled by a 3rd party. Probably, against my user-agent, and associated data stream.
I've adequate security in my machine, not to install this style of software. Still, I've no control over 3rd parties.
Best regards.
