Speed dropped by a huge amount over a week ago, usual numerous calls to India, who now seem to be using stall tactics, ie wait 48 hours, wait 48 hours etc, last call today, yup wait 48 hours, they are still working on the problem.
If it takes this time to repair a fault the whole infrastructure would have collapsed years ago.
Anyway, some data, for the experts hopefully someone can advise.
Did a reset this morning with no effect, tried 3 diff PC's and 2 routers, filters are built in to socket, new one fitted about 3 months ago.
Old speed before fault was around 7Mb, now this.
0 Kbps 7150 Kbps
Max Achievable Speed
Download speedachieved during the test was - 401 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 600-7150 Kbps.
Your DSL Connection Rate :8128 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 7150 Kbps
|Port||Status||TxPkts||RxPkts||Collisions||Tx B/s||Rx B/s||Up Time|
|Connection Speed||8128 kbps||448 kbps|
|Line Attenuation||26.0 db||12.5 db|
|Noise Margin||11.6 db||22.0 db|
stats look better than last time as profile now matches your speed but your throughput of 401 is very low. I though the mods were looking in to your problem - email them again and see if they can help
