Arbitrary execution code vulnerability detectedon http

I've recently run Bitdefender Home Scanner on my Router and Home Network.  The result flashed up the above on my router.

 

How do I fix this ?

Hi Keith,
Thanks for the swift reply.
I bought the latest and greatest BT Router ( the one with Kevin Bacon in the add. lol - Hub6, I believe ). However, I also added three BT Whole Home disks recently to boost the signal around my home.

Bear in mind you are only testing your internal network which will have a number of http endpoints now you have the whole home system as well. Its difficult to see what that report is saying, but if there was a vunerability, it could only be exploited from within your own network.

You could turn off the extra disks to see if the report stops. If it does, then it may need one of the BT Device experts to make a comment.

Yes, I tried turning all of the disks off and just running the test on my main Hub6 router - and the message came up again on Bitdefender ...

I would not be concerned, as the home hub 6 has many direct http endpoints which can take you directly to a page on the hub manager, which I suppose could be seen as arbitrary.

Should I create a new administrator password for my router or just stick wth the BT issued one?

Its usually best to change it, in fact I think you are prompted to change it anyway, just in case someone reads it off the home hub case or label.
