Are all BT SIM cards now 5g?

Hi, I am looking at the Pixel 4a on contract and giving the phone to my daughter and plan to use the SIM card myself in an iPhone 12. As the Pixel is a 4G phone, will the SIM only be 4G capable or will it be 5G so I can use full speed on the iPhone?

They've all been 5G ready since September 2020

Thank you, to confirm, going by that link it should work on 5G with an appropriate 5G handset without me having to do anything other than fit the SIM into the phone?

As I understand it yes, with the possible exception of Family Sims (as I seem to recall reading somewhere ,quite possibly on this forum).

Family SIMs have been 5G enabled for 6 months or more 🙂
