They're ok .... but they'd be better if you had either 6 or 9db noise margin...
But you are running fastpath.... so..you'll need the margin for FEC.
no I'm wrong....you have it in hand.... sorry, you're only at 2.1 clicks... it's fine
...and BT need to do what to achieve these noise margin values....
edit. (cross posting - this could get confusing)
fastpath was set up in error. I was confused with another customer. I hope I'm on auto but had no confirmation. Up to the point when my connection was manually set to fast by BT I'd always been on interleaved!!
OK. Thanks and I'll not edit again
omg DS those line stats look good to my untrained eye,
SYNC'd at 8128 and still 14dB noise margin !
Just being totally nosy you have made 500 posts but you are asking about line stats, do you have a slightly different area of expertise ?
Thank goodness for your reply.
The main reason for the post was to put a little point across.
Questions can be asked, other members whom give their time for free can reply, ratings can be awarded for that reply if it is useful or more to the point answers the question the original poster can say thanks!
Now if I'd have posted that Q in December of last year then yes I wouldn't of had a clue. It's only through ye olde BT Beta Forums that my knowledge on certain subjects has grown to the level it is today. I've also learnt a stack of stuff from these 'thriving' forums (mainly unsolicited attempts!!!!!) and I've done my best to award a rating and to thank the poster for the reply. (If I've not then soz!).
Now to answer your Q:
I, by no means call myself an [Aspiring] Expert, many other members know a lot more than me. Some have made the odd post and IMHO deserve to be moved up the rankings and others have made many (they too deserve recognition). I'd sooner those with greater knowledge try and resolve other members issues. Finally Roger did get me thinking if I'd missed something and I thank him for replying. As the BTHH is pretty well locked down I replied referring to BT as that's all that one could do if all checks are carried out in the home by the user. The bit about me being confused with another customer is true (BT staff believe it or believe it not, are like us - only human and mistakes do happen) and it was in the hope that BT would double check that my hub is set back to auto. Many gamers ask for fast. I don't use my 360 online so I'm not overly fussed (yet).
Expertise wise: I've been known to open the odd hub or 2 and report on my findings (old forum - now history). Internal images are available on request. Wireless via the HH - I've learnt a lot from General Disquiet and again while I'm at it I'll thank him too. Privacy and tracking - thanks Dorset Vinney where ever you are now. Info on the BTHH's and interference on the phone - thanks Jarviser. You might see a pattern here with user ID's.
I'd also like to thank everyone else (too many to name) for helping me out along the way. You know who you are.
I'm yet to tinker with the Vbox but looking on the WWW it looks like it probably isn't worth the hassle.
Hope this answers your question
No Q but thought i'd share this with my fellow members
