Assistance with payment problem

Hi I’m new on here I can’t seem to get through to bt as always busy my bill was due and needs to be paid by 21st where by they will restrict services I need internet as my children are currently home schooling due to the covid 19  however I do not get paid until 24th I am a month behind and cannot pay two bills in one month help appreciated

BT are not restricting services or disconnecting people for payment issues until June. This only applies to bills issued after 20th March 2020.

Just make payment whenever you are able.

I am still being charged £7.50 late payment fees (twice) when I was told they wouldn’t do and was told to get in touch with them to sort out a payment plan to catch up yet it is impossible to get through

@Sarahc75, I presume your outstanding bill was produced before the 20th of March? You can request more time to pay on our automated line by calling 0870 240 5566 and choosing option 4.

I am trying to pay an amount towards my bill but when I go on pay an amount and put the amount in the part where you put in payment details is not loading up is this because it’s not the full amount due that I am entering

If you scroll down, you can pay a bill without logging into your MyBT.

I will try that when I go on my account to make a payment there is also a message coming up in red saying my debt has been passed to a debt agency
