Authentication failed

Today my samsung galaxy prime has been refreshing for my emails but says log in failed password changed. I tried logging in with my password but still failed. I changed my password on BT so my whole BT account has a new password. I deleted my bt mail account on my phone and tried to set up a new one. I tried using pop3 and imap but every time it says authentication failed. Please help I don't know what else to do

All my POP/IMAP accounts and also on another broadband account are not working today. They are all accessible via webmail so something is wrong with the POP/IMAP Yahoo servers.

I was also getting failures earlier, with POP3, but webmail was working.

 

Just tried my mail client again, and it is working now.
