I spent a couple of hours last week on the phone to various people about the still lack of ability to record IPTV channels. i was assured eventually by a manager that it would be complete by October 31st, as in terms of BT's cycle, Winter starts on November 1st.
They initially tried to charge me £25 for a BT Vision box, but when I insisted on speaking to someone more senior, they agreed that if the update was not completed by 31st October, they would phone me on 1st November and arrange for a free BT Vision box to be sent out.
Well, guess what - no update and no phonecall. Typical BT.
This is the second time of posting, but the first one magically dissapeared.
Your first message (17:22) is currently sitting in the BT Vision subforum - it might disappear later if someone tidies up the forum and removes what is now a duplicated thread.
If you click on your own username you will see your own recent posts and be able to track any that you can't fimd.
I was wondering can I cancel my agreement with BT, if this issue will not be fixed by the end of Autumn ?
It is a bit frustrating not to have a chance to record favourite programmes.
I wish I would not have sign with BT Sport but who would expect that you will not be able to record TV channels in an era when people can buy a trip to the moon.
Don't give up on BT just yet, particularly if you like Champions League/Europa League - BT have just won exclusive rights to both comps from 2015-2018. Congrats to BT.
Is that "Breaking News", Jim White???
