Avast Antivirus warns that my BT HomeHub 6 is accessible from the internet

Avast Antivirus has a wifi scan, and the scan has returned a warning.

'Your router is accessible from the internet. This poses a security risk.' (or wording very similar)

(21-August-2019)

I can't find any clues online, nor can I see an obvious setting on my HomeHub page to correct this issue. Essentially it's deemed that further to being inside my network, an attacker could actually get in without being in the network at all, allowing him to modify settings etc. etc.

Is this a false positive?

The router password is not the default password, I changed it as soon as I moved in here.
