Some crackling on the quiet line test but not bursting my ear drums...
Moved router from extension upstairs to the main box downstairs and noise has gone up to 20.8.
did you connect to the test socket assuming you have one? any crackle on your line and you need to report a phone fault NOT a broadband fault by dialing 151. got to get rid of the noise to help your broadband
Spoke to very helpful lass from BT this afternoon who run a few checks and got to the root of the problem.
Down to noise level .. as you guys pointed too as well...going to get line profile reset after running a few tests...hopefully wil be sorted in next few days.
have you therefore managed to get rid of the crackle on youe line?
