cheers, ive booked an engi to come, is there a way to find out if its an infinity engi, or a phone line engi?
Should be a fibre trained engineer that turns up. They arent supposed to work on fibre circuits without the basic training.
I've got a feeling it will be a phone line engineer, as I did a 'line test' over the internet that reported no problem as per usual.
Whoever I get I'm hoping it will be someone that will be able to help.
And my latest speedtest result
slightly better results, but still not what I was predicted. If I havent mentioned before, I was predicted 28mbps down, and 6 up.
And more issues. Check this out for laughable service for a customer that is paying for up to 40mbps, supposed to be getting 28mbps but actually:
ridiculous. I had a friendly engineer on Saturday though (which was nice for a change!), who said he will 'escalate' the problem etc. No escalation and on BT's website, they're saying as far as they're concerned the problem is resolved!! The guy was nice, but unfortunately I still haven't had the problem solved.
BT Phoned me today, and the lady (from India) has said she is sending an engineer out tomorrow. Wonder if he will say the same - "I dont have the equipment".
Genuinely **bleep** off now and I will be complaining through the appropriate channels and to the regulator.
Can anyone direct me to a UK helpline for BT as I'm not convinced they are 100% understanding my problem in India
