Hello,
hoping someone can help.
I have a BT 6000 baby video monitor, and having an issue the night mode keeps turning off even though the room is in complete darkness.
Has anyone had the same issue? Has anyone been able to fix it?
Regards
Colin

Yip I contacted the help desk and they gave me these instructions which fixed my issue.
Thank you for contacting the BT Baby Monitor Helpdesk. The Baby Unit should automatically display in colour then switch to night vision using its infrared LED lights when the room darkens. We therefore would advise to reboot the monitor then try re-linking the camera (which will reset the monitor to factory settings) as per the instructions below –
1. Press and hold down the POWER button on the Parent Unit for 10 seconds. The BT logo should flash up momentarily then the Parent Unit should link back to the Baby Unit
2. Press ‘menu’, scroll to the ‘camera + ’ icon and scroll up to any camera that does not have a tick next to it and press 'ok'
3. On the Baby Unit, press and hold down the ‘link’ button – within a few seconds you should hear a beep and the image from the selected camera should be displayed
Hi, my night vision does not work, just a blank screen.
i have tried all the things you suggested in your post but still no joy?
I only have the one camera.
any help would be great

I think I have the bt 5000 and mine does the same thing. Black screen for night vision, the way I fixed it was on the mobile app (BT Smart Controls). On there is a setting for night vision for auto, on or off. Auto is usually selected but this is where the issue is. I set mine to on, the down side is the video is always in black and white even in the day but it keeps the IR lights on permanently thus working around the issue. Hope this helps.
