BT 8500 Problem

Seem to have lost all sound on my BT8500. No key clicks no ringer, nothing.

If I reset to factory will I lose my address book?

Any help appreciated.

I've done Reset-->Base settings a number of times and not lost my address book.

It's possible you could lose it if you do Reset-->H/set settings. The manual doesn't say (p55).

It may be that only Reset-->Clear user data would delete the address book.

You could ring 08001456789 and ask.

Not sure address book is in the base. Think it is in the handset. Will try the number you gave me. Thx

Hi there

Problem solved. Contacted BT Tech Support (took 15 mins to answer though) solution is to remove the batteries and then put them back. All now working.

Please, how do I go right back to the beginning and do a factory reset, as I've got totally screwed up. Thanks.
