BT 8600 Call blocker

I have a BT8600 call blocker and have recently transferred to Sky and we have experienced some problems using Sky Talk Shield. Sky tells me that the BT phone is not compatible with their talk Shield. i dont understand why this should be. Any help welcome please

Hi @vobster   It looks to me that you should either use Sky Talk Shield or Call Guardian but not both. If you are using Sky Talk Shield then simply turn off Call Guardian on your BT 8600 as it is not required. From what I can see Sky Talk Shield is doing everything that Call Guardian does/did. Obviously the alternative is to turn off Sky Talk Shield (ask Sky) and use Call Guardian which you are probably already used to.

Hi @vobster   BT 8600 (Call Guardian) works with all providers as long as you have caller ID enabled. Not just BT.
