I recently left Sky to join BT as I became aware of the BT Basic calls and broadband package offered; I contacted BT on the day of my installation and requested the BT Basic application form, the gentleman took my National Insurance Number and advised the form was dispatched.
Having not received anything for over a week, I thought I’d message BT - they advised the form was sent out, however on the phone today, I was advised that BT no longer send out a BT Basic application form and everything is done from BTs’ side - is this the case, as I’m now a little confused as was advised a form would be sent and everything on the website suggests a form is required?
i have you tried using search facility as there has been a few enquiries recently. Here is one to check you are eligible

Thanks for the reply, I am eligible for BT Basic and am in receipt of the qualifying benefit - I requested an application form the day my broadband was activated as advised, but am yet to receive the form.
I am confused as on the phone with BT today - they’ve advised me that they no longer send forms to those wanting BT Basic, however have read people do receive a form.
It’s all a little confusing..
Hi @AshleyWilcox,
Thank you for posting and welcome to the Community.
I'm sorry if you've been given conflicting information when you called BT. To get BT Basic an application form would be sent to you through the post.
If you send me your details, I'll be able to check to make sure that the form has been ordered.
I have sent you a private message with instructions on how to contact the team. You can access your messages via the envelope icon at the top right of the screen, or click on this link, Private messages
Thanks,
Paddy
