BT Black Discs

One of my wifi disc no longer pairs wireless with the Hub. It was working correctly but yesterday it stopped. Following the 'connect new disc' instructions on the app the disc light turns solid blue whilst connected to ethernet and then once disconnected just goes red then flashes blue and never goes solid blue and goes back to red again, please help?

Hi @Jensmith,  welcome to the forum, and sorry your disc won't pair with the hub.  If you are still having a problem with the disc then try a Reset of the Hub and then follow these steps to Set Up Complete Wifi again.

I posted about this on another thread ... I don't know if it will help but I'll put it here anyway! - did you have your router Wifi mode switched to 2 or 3? - I did and found after some firmware update BT done I can only get the Wifi disc to pair now (solid blue) with Wifi Mode 1 selected.... if it's not that then I'm sorry I can't help!!

In order to have even changed this setting in the first place you would have needed to have logged-in to your router so if you (or someone else) never has then it's unlikely to be that.

As advised above, your router needs to be operating in wireless mode 1 for the disc to work.

Just be aware that if you changed it at sometime in the past to address another issue then that issue could resurface when you change it back

Thank you but on checking it is already on mode 1.  It's very annoying just to stop working suddenly

Try a factory reset on both the hub and the failing disc
