Total rubbish the HUB 5 works perfectly well with ADSL and was designed to work on both services

Re: BT Broadband Issues - BT HomeHub 5

why does the hh5 have an adsl connection if it does not work on standard adsl broadband?  I would avoid talking to whoever told you that HH5 doe not work on adsl

Re: BT Broadband Issues - BT HomeHub 5

That is definately not true, I am waiting to have Infinity 2 installed (next Tuesday) my HH5 arrived last week and as one of my main gripes recently is unreliable Wifi due to the number of my neighbours who also have wifi I decided to replace the HH2 & had with the New HH5 as it is Dual band.  My ADSL connection has been rock solid for the past six days.

Re: BT Broadband Issues - BT HomeHub 5

So you're telling me that I've just been fobbed off with another router? This is absolutely shocking

Re: BT Broadband Issues - BT HomeHub 5

And I spoke to a BT guy on level 2. He told me specifically that home hub 5 wouldn't work with Adsl.

Re: BT Broadband Issues - BT HomeHub 5

Thanks for replying.

I've reset the home hub back to factory.

It's definitely an issue with the line as i have used another working ADSL router and the same thing happens.

The ADSL light flashes.

Engineer is now coming to the site as apparently everything from a line perspective is working. I can only imagine it being a problem with the port now . .

Thanks again all.

Re: BT Broadband Issues - BT HomeHub 5

That now sounds more like a lack of broadband service on the line
