Re: BT Broadband Usage Monitor Wildly Inaccurate

I didn't find tbb meter very accurate, but I did find it useful for measuring the size of a downloaded file, on one of the menu options there were different download tests, something like 10,20,50 Mg, I used this to test the accuracy of my Hub and any other usage monitors I had at the time, just take a reading before and after downloading the test file.

Hope this helps.

Del.

Re: BT Broadband Usage Monitor Wildly Inaccurate

I wasn't aware it was not allowed to copy e-mails form BT in this forum resulting in them being edited out.

In summary the answer given was:

  • Your usage has been checked at the network level & the usage meter is confirmed as correct.
  • I understand that the HH numbers are different, I don't know why.
  • There is no more help I can offer.
No comment has been made about the 2.95GB recorded by the usage meter when there was no router or occupants in the property for 24 hours. No further action is contemplated.

Re: BT Broadband Usage Monitor Wildly Inaccurate

No - you should persevere please.

When you cut & paste text from a web page (containing HTML) the system doesn't allow it. It does however edit the post to change the HTML into plain text - you get a comment box further up the screen that asks you if the edit is correct. If so, you click post again & the job is done.

What was it about?

Re: BT Broadband Usage Monitor Wildly Inaccurate

It was my own wording, I didn't cut and paste anything, as you can see my post above is empty had to reply through quickreply which seems to work.
