I have BT Call Protect. I have protected myself from unwanted phone calls by not receiving "Withheld", "International" and "Unrecognised" numbers.
On three occasions over the last couple of days I have received these phone calls from 01224 17646, 01536 85744 and 01328 93135. These are scam numbers purporting to be from BT needing access to my account because of a supposed security problem.
These numbers are not legitimate telephone numbers. They are "Unrecognised" numbers.
Why is Call Protect allowing these numbers through?
