We are interested in the automated recognition of phone numbers for incoming calls.
We have business users which want our software to open and show the right contact on incoming calls.
I understand that the described solutions support VoIP soft-phones as well as actual devices. But I could not find out if it is possible ...
* either the Soft-Switch notifies us via some sort of interface (we are flexible) or
* we periodically poll & fetch data from the VoIP system enabling us to recognise incoming phone numbers
