An issue has been reported to us that for some BT Cloud customer's they are unable to use BT Cloud when upgrading their PC application.
The issue appears to have been caused by a certificate expiry issue which is normally resolved by running Windows Update. However it appears this is not successfully updated in all cases – hence some people are affected and others not.
The certificate can be manually refreshed by completing the step below which will enable you to successfully log into BT Cloud again.
NOTE: This will present a BLANK webpage (this is deliberate)
In the address bar – click on the padlock as highlighted in red
Once clicked on the padlock a dropdown box is displayed
Click on ‘View certificates’ and you will be presented with this
Once you have done that, this process is completed.
VALID FROM date is in the future and should be showing July 2014 or beyond.
It should now be possible to log into BT Cloud via the PC client again.
