Just setup BT Cloud and looking to upload lots of photos
I have organised local folders, how I would like to see Albums in the cloud then Synched
I get files and folders correct but no Albums have been created
I have setup Enable Smart Folders which to me reads that Albums should be created in line with the folders
I have called Help line and told I need to manually create Albums and move photos into them
Anyone had similar issues and been able to get it to work ?

Same problem - no solution - just shows geographic area the photo was taken - pretty naff really
This is what I have discovered:
The first time you backup a folder named XYZ with 5+ photos in it. Smart folders will create a photo album named XYZ.
If you subsiquently delete the XYZ photo album from BT Cloud. Smart folders will not create a photo album for XYZ again, even if you do delete eveything in BT Cloud and delete and reinstall the App on your machine.
I don't think you can totally reset your BT Cloud account - it's remembering the initial file name / photo album relationship whether you like it or not.
There's probably some logic to this. Any comments BT?
Sorry - ignore last post. It started fine, creating photo albums for the newly named folders as I moved them into my Pictures folder. Then it just stopped. I may have tranfered too many too quickly. I don't know, I give up! There are loads of posts slating this feature and BT cloud in general. Very poor BT.
My problem is it works fine but it will only back up all my photos from the last year. It sees 363 photos in my photo stream. However I want it to back up the lot from 4 years ago and I have 1500 photos in my photo stream. But it will just not see them at all even when you click photos and documents. Its a strange programme. I would rather use icloud where it just works but not paying twice for storage. Any ideas how to get it to back up all photos. I use an ipad mini with ios 11.4.1
Duberry, sorry i cant help on that one. I use BTCLOUD client on PC and copy photos manually to a sync folder and it works fine. My only issue relates to the photo album functionality which doesnt work
