BT Cloud Syncing Pending

Can anyone tell me why I get the message "BT Cloud Syncing Pending" when there are still files to be backed up.  I am backing up a bunch of folders (around 60gb), and can't understand why it doesn't get on with them as I know it'll take about a week to upload them all!!

Is there logic behind when it syncs and when ti doesn't??

12Jan18 BT Cloud Version 17.1.5.21 (win10). Under the "Transfers" tab it shows "Processing: 38507 files pending..." and just sits there. every time I login it recalculates processes a few files and then stops again. Been like this for months since I first added this large folder (198GB) to "Backup". Stats:Used 35.5GB of 1000GB storage. Any ideas?
