Re: BT Cloud app only available for M1 Macs, not Intel

The biggest problem is that this app remains Intel only and as yet isn't a universal binary, that is, on M1 based Mac's it runs under MacOS Rosetta2 emulation layer. This in itself is not too much of an issue - however, as BT Cloud operates largely as a background application, that means that it constantly runs under emulation which has a really negative impact on energy use / battery depletion rate. I had to remove the application for this very reason as it would literally halve my battery life, constantly chewing away in the background. For maximum efficiency, this application needs to be recompiled as a universal binary so users of Intel and M1 based Mac's get the best possible experience.
