BT Cloud backup

The BT web site states that if a file is deleted on the computer it will delete from the Cloud, ..and put into the trash bin. My deleted files are NOT deleted from the Cloud. Any ideas@

Thanks

Re: BT Cloud backup

It appears to me that this only works via the Sync. folder. It also appears to me that the BT Cloud 'Backup' is only useful as storage-backup.

Re: BT Cloud backup

BT Web: Because the BT Cloud backup is an exact copy of the folders and files you select on your device, if you delete a file on your device, it'll move it to the Trash in BT Cloud.

You conna fix this Mr BTMan?

Re: BT Cloud backup

BT Cloud is effectively dead for, as BT puts it, "a few" customers.

If you look at this discussion:

BT Cloud Upgrade(?), what have you done? - BTCare Community Forums

you will see that the sort of problem you describe has been around for nearly three weeks, ever since BT moved the cloud on to a news system.

Your one consolation is that, unlike some of us, you can get into the system.

For the time being, the best advice is not to rely on the BT Cloud for anything important, or even anything unimportant.
