BT Customer Service

Why Oh Why is BT customer service so poor???? I live in an area that is BT infinity enabled. The streets either side of me have it but our street does not.  If I do the line checker it says BT infinity is not enabled in your area (I must live on a paralell universe) and is not planned please register your interest for updates.  Why is there not a way of finding out why you cannot get it and if you ever are going to get it !!!

Phone number doesnt mention fibre, postcode says yes..... BT still say no.  Wonder if a new number would help
