BT Customers Be Aware

If you are moving into a new build like by myself it will take you 12 weeks to get the broadband installed then another week for to be connected.

I will update if longer or not.

Re: BT Customers Be Aware

the installation in your new development is nothing to do with BT Retail  This sis something you need to take up with your developer who in turn need to contact openreach

you could try this  https://www.openreach.co.uk/orpg/home/contactus/newhomes/newhomes.do

Re: BT Customers Be Aware

have you taken up your problem with the site developer who is the person to liase with openreach about getting cables installed to the homes  there is nothing BT Retail or any ISP can do about cable/cabinet installations

Re: BT Customers Be Aware

We bought a new build at the end of September, and the developer had already arranged for all the BT cabling to be installed (underground) along with mains socket and extensions. Our phone and broadband went live 4 days after we moved in.

Re: BT Customers Be Aware

@Vince007  That is what you would expect to happen but obviously @carolwaites developer has not done his job and leased with openreach to get the cabling installed to the new homes.

@carolwaites And other homeowners need to get the developer to sort it out
