I'm just moving BB service to BT, schedule cutover is 7th Sept. I have a MY BTId activated and was looking to create a primary BT internet mail account. All the information I have seen indicates that there is an option to create email accounts under the "My products" option within my BT ID login..
I cannot see any option to create an email account.
Does my BT Broadband have to be activated to enable this to happen, i.e after the 7th?
I was looking to have a BT email account so that I could forward a number of important emails before my current service provider terminates the service on transfer to BT. I don't use a generic account i.e GMAIL, YAHOO etc for important messages, preferring a service providers option.
Any advice / information would be much appreciated.
Hmm, personally I would use a Gmail account rather than an ISP account for important emails. The BT email system doesn't have a good track record.
Your MyBT will not be fully populated until your account is active and as such you will not be able to set up a BTMail account until then.
