BT FON - Not Active on Home Hub

I had BT Infinity installed yesterday, and I have signed up or opted in to BF FON, but my Home Hub tells me under SERVICES / BT FON WiFi Community that "You aren't currently part of the BT FON WiFi Community".

 

But on the BT FON Check Status says I'm Opted In.

 

When will the Home Hub start acting as a BT FON 'hotspot' or is there a problem with the set-up or installation.

Hi it can take a few day for activation of FON to take place

I have the same issue - been on BT Infinity with a HomeHub 3 for a few weeks now and it still is not active even although I am opted in. Going to the 'Home' tab on the BT Home Hub Manager menu, against BT FON it says 'Not active on your BT Home Hub'. If I click the 'Activate service' button I get the cryptic message "You aren't currently part of the BT FON WiFi Community"

 

Does it take weeks or months to activate on the hub ?

Hi Derek.

Go here http://www.btfon.com/ and check wether you are signed up or not. If you are opted in , then opt out and then opt back in, then give it a few days to filter through.

 

When you go to the FON page , make sure you do not login to FONERA.
