I get that, but is there a new version out, people seem to be asking to be updated

I believe the latest version for the SH 2 is v0.21.03.07094-BT.  As explained in previous posts, the issue with the upload cap does not need a new firmware update but needs BT to change a parameter in the Hub which they can do without your hub rebooting. Your hub checks in with BT every day. You can view these check ins and any parameter updates in the Event Log of the Hub Manager. You need to filter the log by ‘TR069’. Hope that helps.

Hi guys

I've literally in the last 30 minutes had FTTH 900mbit service installed and indeed my upload speed is stuck at 50mbit.

I'm currently on an old firmware... :v0.17.01.12312-BT

I guess the smart hub will update overnight? will the latest firmware fix the fault?

It probably won't fix it, but if you have just had it installed, wait two days before doing anything as I was told that it takes time to wind its way through the various BT systems. Sure enough mine sorted itself out after a couple of days following installation. Thereafter if it happens again you'll need to ask a Mod for help.

No, no factory reset necessary. Mine did get sorted following installation, but be aware a couple of months later it got capped at 50mbits again and I had to ask a mod here to sort it.

Had Full Fibre 900 installed Wednesday, can't seem to get much above 600Mb down and stuck on 50Mb upload too. Have tried factory reset and made zero difference, not a great start! The Openreach engineer did warn it may take 48 hours to settle in. But expected better than this.

@nbooth  I didn’t think FTTP had a settling in period. Are the download speeds with a wired connection to the hub? The 50Mb upload cap is a known issue. It might fix itself with a firmware update if one is pushed in the next few day or the ask the mods to help.
