Full reset's fine, but when you're staying in a B&B, it's not great having to ask the neighbour to perform a full reset of their HomeHub ; )

Especially if the owner of the hub doesn't know about the BTFon auto opt in feature.....
Well it does appear that someone somewhere is trying something (I think)
First I thought Oz had been shutdown
till they swapped over
And there's only one day left - http://www.btlife.bt.com/btcustomers/use-your-free-bt-wi-fi-for-a-chance-to-win-an-ipad-or-ipod-touc...
Very disappointed. Could do with a new toy to break.
Could I ask if people are having difficulties through Vista/XP or Windows 7.
I've got 2 laptops, Win7 one's fine, but the Vista one can't connect to OZ/Fon. Thanks, Paul
All 3 for moi
It could be that your W7 lappie has had it's details cached by the Fon/Oz part of the hub already...?
But the other hasn't?

Good point, I'll try it from my HTC + Other Vista machine..
Aye, worth a shot imo...
Don't suppose there's any word coming back from BT on timing for future firmware release?
Still waiting for ANY info on this. Hopefully a forum mod (little hint there
) can find out and post about this issue?
Cheers DS
No probs, although we've missed the chance to win an ipad now
Just spoke with tech from OpenZone support. Not 100% but looks like they've recognised it as a known issue. Boils down to caching/prioritising devices as they attach (as DS referred to earlier). Hard reset will work, but can't do that to every HHub in the land! Supposedly there's a firmware update to be rolled out in the next week or so, but couldn't give dates etc.
Still a little suprised we had to find out this way
Maybe someone can find out the actual planned date for the firmware update?
Then we can all try it then rather than getting more and more annoyed when it fails
