BT Fon

I downloaded inSSIDer the other day to see who was using wireless Channels near me, previously i was using No 11 but other people close by were on that channel too. Currently im using channel 6 but also i have 2 other connections on that same channel they are BT Fon and BT Openzone H. I can browse everything fine but was is BT Fon and BT Openzone should i move to another channel they say the best channels are 1,6, and 11. But there are 2 other wifi connection near by on 11 and aslo the same with channel 1.

Re: BT Fon

Are you sure those signals are not coming fro your own home hub? If they are, then they will move channel with you.

Re: BT Fon

If you click the RSSI heading in inSSIDer until the highest values are at the top, you will usually find your main BT and your own BT Fon/Openzone connections grouped together with similar values, confirming that they are yours. (Note that the values are minus figures.)
