BT Home Hub 5 (Type A) | Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.264

As above BT have just updated the Home Hub 5

BT Home Hub 5 (Type A) | Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.264 | Last updated 02/03/19

My 5gh Wifi network now refuses to connect to the internet after this update.

I have constantly reset the hub and done a master reset with the same problem. Everything connects to the network itself but has no internet connection after about 5 minutes (or sometimes not at all after a reset)

2.4ghz and wired connection not got a problem with

Any suggestions that doesn't involve doing everything I've already done or any way I can downgrade the update?

Same issue, tried powering off, disabling reenabling in settings but no joy.

It's quite obviously a firmware issue as I've hooked up a different router which is working fine.

How have you 'reset' the hub? Have you carried out a full factory reset by pressing the recessed button for about 20 seconds until the lights flash?

Sorry, didn't mean to press post then.
Reset hub
5ghz still broken
Reset several times
Still broken
Factory reset
Still broken
Unplugged for couple of hours - trird different modem 5ghz working
Hub 5 back on 5ghz broken

To be honest, I can't be ar*** contacting customer support as they'll just go through what I've already done and probably won't solve the problem - I haven't got the time to waste in the phone so I've just set up a bridge connection upstairs with my other touter.

Nothing cs would be able to do on any case. I will ask if the mods could take a look, they will post in the morning.

Doing the same, using an old router that I had just been using as a switch, PITA, but as you say could call CS but I do not have the time with work . . .
