Hi,
I am finding that the wifi on my home hub will stop working for all devices in the house, while cabled devices are still connected without issue.
For example, I currently get the below event logs from my mobile phone:
15:37:32, 29 Aug. | ath10: STA 3c:28:6d:d9:0c:43 IEEE 802.11: Client associated |
15:37:25, 29 Aug. | ath10: STA 3c:28:6d:d9:0c:43 IEEE 802.11: Client disassociated |
15:37:15, 29 Aug. | ath10: STA 3c:28:6d:d9:0c:43 IEEE 802.11: Client associated |
15:37:02, 29 Aug. | ath10: STA 3c:28:6d:d9:0c:43 IEEE 802.11: Client disassociated |
15:36:52, 29 Aug. | ath10: STA 3c:28:6d:d9:0c:43 IEEE 802.11: Client associated |
15:36:23, 29 Aug. | ath10: STA bc:e1:43:6f:4a:30 IEEE 802.11: Client disassociated |
15:36:22, 29 Aug. | ath10: STA 3c:28:6d:d9:0c:43 IEEE 802.11: Client disassociated |
I have tried to reset the channels but this fails, and find that the only fix is to restart the home hub.
It is reporting the below firmware:
BT Home Hub 5 (Type A) | Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.264 | Last updated 28/02/19
Any suggestions on how to try to fix this when it occurs again ?
Regards
V
Try the usual fixes for the home hub, in this order.
factory reset the home hub.
Then turn Smart Setup off.
