BT Home Hub 5 keeps disconnecting and I don't know why.

My BT Home Hub 5 keeps disconnecting and I have no idea why.  I will attach an image of the event log. I'm sorry if I've done something wrong in this post but I've never used these forums before. Any help is appreciated.

What happens with a wired connection?

@yoboh

That just look like wireless devices disconnecting, you will need to see if the problem happens with wired connections, as @pippincp has requested.

Alright. I'll try that when I can and tell you if it helped.

Re: BT Home Hub 5 keeps disconnecting and I don't know why.

Alright. I tried a wired connection and that worked better than wireless connections but it still disconnected when the other devices did. I have also discovered that it seems to also disconnect when my main computer turns on as well as randomly disconnecting throughout the day. I have tried restarting the home hub too which didn't stop the disconnects. I would be grateful for any more advice or suggestions.

Re: BT Home Hub 5 keeps disconnecting and I don't know why.

It could be one of a number of things.

Is there any noise on your phone calls? Dial 17070 and select option 2, there should be no noise between the announcements.

Also try the following.

Try a factory reset of the home hub.

http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/11386/%7E/how-do-i-reset-my-bt-hub-to-its-factory-set...

Then turn off smart setup.

Or it may be a faulty home hub 5.

Not sure why your computer should affect it, unless its generating interference when its switches on. You could try moving it away from the home hub, and any phone wiring.
