Re: BT Hub 2.0 going off constantly

your noise margin at 2.8 is a bit low you may find an improvement in stability but you will lose a little speed you can contact the forum mods and request a noise margin reset this is a link to them
http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4951
they normally reply by email or phone directly to you within 72 hours

They are a UK based specialist team who have a good record at getting problems solved

Re: BT Hub 2.0 going off constantly

I already have done - and as it's a related problem I don't see what difference it makes.

the stats cause confusion particilarly as you have a high noise margin and the originator has a low margin so quite possible that it may appear same problem as it often does but in reality it is different

better sticking to your own thread - have the mods contacted you yet in your own thread?

Re: BT Hub 2.0 going off constantly

I must admit there are a fair percentage of users on here posting about their hubs going on and off like mine,I know systems can be complex and every fault is different but still seems like too many to me.

I had Virgin for a few years before switching to BT, its something I wish i'd never done as my Vigin internet was always on, it never dropped out, just got a bit slow in the evenings, I only swapped as my company requested we went to BT.

Re: BT Hub 2.0 going off constantly

BT engineer out today, tested everything and stated all was ok. He has fitted a new BT Hub 2.0 type B, so lets see how its goes from here.
