I have a BT Hub5 with 5 static public Ip addresses. The 5 usable aip addresses are assigned to public facing terminals and that all works fine.
My question is the Public IP address that other clients use when on the net is the DHCP public address assigned by BT and NOT the static IP that the router is assigned,
Router Static IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xx2
Broadband Network IP 81.xxx.xxx.xx0 - this is the address that the clients use. Is there a way to get it to use the router static IP?
Welcome to the BT residential forum. If you have static IP addresses you must be a business customer and will get more help on the business forum https://business.forums.bt.com/
