I finally managed to set up my BT ID with the help of a agent in the call centre, now it will not let me access it using the email and password
contacted call centre(india) and the insisted i had not set up the BT ID and he sent another activaition email. on trying this it would not accept the answer to the security question that i used last time
decided then to try the route of asking to check the email login .......this required the typing in of the bt phone number
and for some reason says it is not recognised
so to put it as it stands
1]will not accept email or password in log in
2]will not allow the use of the BT phone
3]agents on 2 occasions have tried to get me to allow them remote contol of the computer(refused).1 tried to get me to download an app which would let thim do this after i refused permisson
so how the heck do i get past this problem

thanks for the help folks, but with a fair bit of playing about ive managed to set up a new BT ID that works
