Re: BT INFINITY CONTINUOUS DELAYS - POOR COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE

I am not concerned with the intricacies of BT and Openreach.  Basically if BT reneges on its contract which it is now doing by not supplying BT infinity on the promised installation day, then I will be cancelling the contract if BT does this again.

Re: BT INFINITY CONTINUOUS DELAYS - POOR COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE

kate1,

Have you contacted BT Retail to rearrange a Openreach Engineer visit to install your BT Infinity service?

If you haven't then I would advise to contact BT Retail to re-arrange the appointment via this link: Contact BT

If the Openreach Engineer doesn't arrive on the next appointment time you have arranged with BT Retail and yourself then you can contact the BT Care Team by clicking on the link below.

Contact BT Care Team

The BT Care Team are a BT UK Based specialist team who have a good reputation for solving customer problems.

Once contacting them they will normally reply either by phone or email within 3 working days, however you will be given a tracking number immediately after sending the request. Please take note of this.

Please also note that during this holiday period there maybe a longer delay for you to get a response from the BT Care Team.

Cheers

Re: BT INFINITY CONTINUOUS DELAYS - POOR COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE

BT are supposed to be escalating it due to their poor service.  However today was supposed to have been an escalated service and still the engineer did not arrive and I haven't been given a reason. I have already contacted the Care Team.  I've used them before, some of their replies have been helpful but others are only template replies which are useless as they are not tailored to my situation and therefore do not answer the questions - which frankly is even more annoying.

I do understand it's Christmas and it's all a bit late for todya, but for a communications company, your service has been atrocious.  However, at the end of the day, we want Infinity in, however, we are not going to continue to be messed around by BT, and BT only have one more chance to redeem themselves before I cancel my contract.   There are plenty of other options.

Re: BT INFINITY CONTINUOUS DELAYS - POOR COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE

What about this checker that people have said to check and shows you the actualy cabinet upgrade times/issues.

The link given just shows the exchanges whereas the admin under BT INFINITY FAQs states that it shows cabinet information after August 2012???

Re: BT INFINITY CONTINUOUS DELAYS - POOR COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE

Hi garethlevans,

The Openreach where and when website ( http://www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/where-and-when/ ) is the website that this post here: ( BT-Infinity-Availability-FAQs) is referring to. The website gives cabinet level information if there is a delay or if information is available on that cabinet's deployment timeframe. If information is available on that FTTC cabinet when entering your postcode a Yellow pin will appear. If you click on the yellow pin it will give more information.

To check the estimated date for when your FTTC cabinet is activated you can visit http://dslchecker.bt.com/adsl and enter your phone number or address. It may give you a estimated activation date for your WBC FTTC cabinet.

Cheers
