I just cannot beleive what I am hearing on the phone from BT India, they want to waste some poor engineers time by a visit coming out on the 13th just to do a simple DLM reset on my line that takes a 2 minute job from the exchange or on a mobile!. I think this is so ridicilous and a massive waste of time that I may add has been done before on a couple of occassions by a simple phone call to BT and its been done without an enginner visit!!! Even an engineer that visited about 7 months ago with the same issue said BT can do it anytime without an engineer visiting! Its a very sad waste of tme in my opinion.
Engineer came out today was no help at all what a waste of time even though its obvious my line needs a DLM reset or a line reset, he would not do it because for some reason BT want to go back and discuss it and decide, the person at BT India even thought in her wisdom it would be a good idea to cap my line the BT engineer said it was a very bad idea I said it was a bad idead we both agreed and tbh I dont really think the person who I am dealing with at BT India has any idea!. Gaming is awfull with pings of 44ms which is an increase from 15ms, web pages load sluggish and online xbox 360 games run terrible also BBC IPlayer buffers and that was while the BT engineer was testing it at the house before he went, its all running so sluggish but still refused to do a reset. Its starting to gring me down 😞
I understand your frustration. I am afraid its not possible for us to complete resets on Infinity connections, the request has to come from an engineer.

Engineer has already visited me but he said he needed to go back and discuss the reset/DLM issue further before they could go ahead and do it. In his opinion he said it needed to be done but he could not do it there and then. Soon as the speeds are fixed I will leave well alone forever.
The speeds where at 10MB Down and 1.70MB Up when the engineer was booked I did another reset that night on the equipment and it went up to about 17MB Down and 2.10MB Up which has stayed there ever since, no change but that is still a massive drop from a steady 26MB Down and 2.90MB Up for nearly 3 months running before the massive power cuts, pings are still fluctuating between 44 - 58ms from a steady 14 - 18ms there is alot of packet loss, also I showed the engineer imgs of speeds & Pings etc.. before the power cuts just to show him how the connection was running so I'm not making the speeds up as I go along. Everything runs all round slugggish in my opinion and online gaming and internet browsing is awful tbh.
I did a reset this morning and expected the speed to go up slightly and it has not budged at all still around 19MB some odd. Now I am starting to beleive that the lady at BT India has put a cap on the line like she said, could you please check it and take any caps of my connection!. I would of seen an increase by now its been over 3 weeks since I last reset it, you dont go from a solid 26MB Down to 19MB solid just over a few weeks!!!. She mentioned capping it and the engineer said no and so did I so if she has can you tkae it off. I am not happy with this connection at all its running sluggish and feels awful, online gaming is vertually unplayable. I expected some sort of change by now!!!. I want the connection fixing now, this issue is grinding me down and i'm getting very fed up, if its not fixed soon as my contract is up I'm off! I'm not hanging around with some mediaoca connection. I pay for 76/20MB not 19MB I dont care what my estimates are if I have had 26/2.90MB for along time why should I put up with what I have now!!! Get it fixed I'm fed up of BT's bull**bleep**. Do a line reset or I will just keep with what i have for the time being and go else where soon as the time comes.
Thats it I have had enough of BT, they are full of it! I have just spent ages on the phone with them trying to tell me that I get speeds of my point of estimate sale so apparently you dont pay for up to 76/20MB you pay for your estimates so as long as your speeds are just above them they dont care, well BT I don't care either so up yours, I'm off soon as possible. If I have had up to 26/2.90MB since install, what is the difference now then just becuase someone all of a sudden you say has joined BT infinity over the past few weeks down the road and that has brought my speeds rite down, **bleep**, that is **bleep**!!!. I'm sick of asking the same question over and over again to BT and if you carnt do a simple DLM reset on my line for me to get it back to the way it was then I will simply wait and go. The point is the connection is sloppy and I want it back the way it was not just OK but perfect,we pay good money to BT for a connection that is 100% rite not 50%!

I need a reset on Infinity 2 as well as I should be getting dead cert speeds of 48 and 6.
