I've replied to your posts here Brian_d but just to reiterate, as CraigS has pointed out in post #3  its not possible for us to complete resets on Infinity connections, the request has to come from an engineer.

They wont do a reset on your line m8 that is a fact instead they will cap it like they did mine its been about 2 months now no difference with mine it just sits @19.7MB Down and wont budge beyound that I know they have capped it I can tell it would of gone beyound the 19MB by now. But still they wont do nothing about my issue the whole connection sucks BT just carry on sorting out the new customers and forget about the old ones that are paying a full whack off £26.99p per month!!!, and to think I have put hours into BT threads helping others out but when I want help they dont want to know about it! Obviously the Expert next to my name means nothing as far as BT are concerned.

David can you please prioirtize my line with speed over consistency?. My connection is rock solid 100% to my house its been checked by an engineer there is no need for consistency to my house I have never had a disconnection since the install, its only so often I get power cuts but what they have done is not neseccary. All I want is the DLM resetting back to what it was when the connection was first installed, nothing more please. Does that make sense now?. I want my FTTC connection optimizing for online gaming and downloading the most not really web page surfing, the connection is mainly used for those purposes. I have read the Openreach article below and I understand DLM a bit more now.

@DavidM - Mod,

 

I ran a test this morning and the results are as shown:-

Now BT claim that my line is not restricted and I beleived that I was being fobbed off by BT. I ran this test and that was the result, now I am not an expert but I would strongly say that is a restircted/capped line! Now please could you look into it and have this capped removed for me and I'm sure my speeds will go back to normal. Thank you
