I moved to BT Infinity on the 28th December, have the email to prove it.
Broadband Speed prior to move 4.7Mb post move 4.7Mb. Contacted BT and apparently there is a stabalisation period of 7 days. Tested BB speed daily and got anthing from 0.9 to 5 Mb. Phone BT again and was told to reset the super new Hub they sent me which would sort out the problem within 24 hours. As expected, no change. Phoned again and promised an engineer would look at it Monday/Tuesday this week AND they would phone me. No phone call, bb speed 1.93Mb. Just finished on the phone again today and apparently I am in yet another 10 day "stabalisation" period.
There are no words to explain how annoyed I am (well there are but I would be bannished from this forum).
Expect I will cancel the order altogether on the 17th of Januare (end of stabalisation period) as I can not see this situation improving. Have informed my two neighbours who were interested in upgrading to Infinity to scrap the idea.
Can you input your number at dslchecker.bt.com and post the results please.
Can you also post up the connection stats from your home hub.
