Re: BT Infinity 1 Speed Slowww

That's cool, just means you have no extension sockets.

Re: BT Infinity 1 Speed Slowww

Then the openreach  wires must be connected to terminals A&b on the socket backplate like normal

Re: BT Infinity 1 Speed Slowww

You just need to call broadband faults and explain to them that the speeds drop off as the evening goes on.

Re: BT Infinity 1 Speed Slowww

Sorry but as there are no wires connected to back of front plate the assumption is you have no extension sockets  is that correct? Just sometimes there are DIY sockets incorrectly connected

Re: BT Infinity 1 Speed Slowww

@ imjolly

I don't have any extension sockets, i have only been in this flat for 3 years and a new socket was put in by an engineer when i moved in and got sky installed.

Re: BT Infinity 1 Speed Slowww

So after multiple calls and emails i get a couple of phone calls from india (go figure) monitoring my speed every few days.

I get a call back today and the girl says an engineer fixed a fault at the exchange but couldnt tell me what kind of faul only that it was 'fixed'

Suprise Suprise after about 5pm i ran a speed test and its slower than ever

Really just considering cancelling and going back to sky broadband, slower than fibre but at least stable.
