I have regularly been getting 34-36mbps for the last year from an upto 38mb line. Now my liner can apparently give "upto" 52mb. W"hy is it then that my speed has now dropped about a fortnight ago to 26-28mb? According to BT I can get between 32-44mb on my line, so why the sudden drop when they're saying the line speed is higher now at 52mb than it was before when it was 38mb? In a nutshell I was getting 36 from a 38mb line and now I'm getting 28 from a 52mb line! What gives?
Can you use this speed tester then carry out the further diagnostics and post back a screen shot of all the results including your IP profile for up and down. This test must be done with a wired connection. http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/
