Hoping your BT people that monitor things on this forum can help.
Ive had continual problems with my BT Connection over the year I've been with you, mainly issues at the cab, I've had 6 engineers out in 6 months! When things *were* going well (on my old ADSL2+) connection, I was getting 22.5mb, happy days!
So I signed up and joined Infinity, it was installed a week ago. I understand about the "bedding in" period, but surely thats almost over. The first day I was connected, my speed was ok, peaking at 22mb (this after the engineer had said I can get 38mb!!!! based on his tests when he was here), the most Ive had since day 1 is 15mb, generally its even slower than that, culminating with a couple of days ago when I was getting all of 0.02mb!!!!
Frankly I'm **bleep** furious, I work from home and this HAS to be up to scratch within a week. I am less than 400 meters from my exchange, I have a clear enough line to get 22.5mb out of an ADSL2+ line but have had nothing but sh*t from my Infinity line so far.
Things have picked up, but still less than my old speed!
Download speedachieved during the test was - 18665 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 12000-38717 Kbps .
IP Profile for your line is -38717 Kbps
Upload speed achieved during the test was - 8105 Kbps
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 10000 Kbps
Its looking not bad and will probably improve
distance from exchange is of no concern with infinity its distance from the Fibre enabled Cabinet that matters
I've got infinity, during the day I get 35mb speed test, this drops off to less than 20mb during "peak" times and I often get 4-8mb test results
also during peak times I find that I can't even watch iPlayer or play online games
I've had to resort to setting up a VPN to my office and using my offices ADSL via infinity to be able to do either of the aforementioned in the evening
I've had this problem since the 8th Dec, I've spoken to Tier 2 support who have supposedly spoken to tier 3 support and we are now closer to having a solution
