BT Infinity Speed/Connection Issues

hi this on behalf of my dad as he has the above and has the this issue 

He has swichted on his pc and the router is onlt showing the power and wifi light as blue but the bb light is continnig flashing  why is this

It may be a fault however he should first of all try resetting the homehub by pressing the reset button on the rear.

i have asked then to do swicth of router and switch on but still no change

If nothing there, what type of Homehub does he have. Does he also have a white Openreach modem?

It it not business its residential and the have tried reset to and still the same 

he advised called and Eng will roubnd mon but am worried as if fault in house charge down to him and he OAP on one pension only

The status checker can be used for both residential and business, it tells you if there are problems with the BT network.

 

Get him to make sure that all the cables are securely plugged in in case one has come adrift.
